377 Loading Protocols


Loading Protocols define the relationship between
the Well Plate coordinate and the Gel Lane position.

The samples that are displayed in the applications Load_Plate
list box are accessed sequentially to fill the Well Plate.
The Well Plate coordinates are loaded based upon the selected
loading protocol.

Below, the tables show which Well Plate coordinate corresponds to which
Gel Lane position.

Horizontal: Loads Well Plate from left-to-right top-to-bottom.

Verticle-96: Loads Well Plate from top-to-bottom left-to-right.
Used with Capillary sequencers.

hsk96:  Uses an eight lane Gel loading syringe with a 96 Well Plate.

First draw uses Wells: A1, B1, C1, D1, E1, F1, G1, H1
These become lanes: 1, 7, 13, 19, 25, 31, 37, 43

Second draw uses Wells: A2, B2, C2, D2, E2, F2, G2, H2
These become lanes: 2, 8, 14, 20, 26, 32, 38, 44

Third draw uses Wells: A3, B3, C3, D3, E3, F3, G3, H3
These become lanes: 3, 9, 15, 21, 27, 33, 39, 45

Sixth draw uses Wells: A6, B6, C6, D6, E6, F6, G6, H6
These become lanes: 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48

First half the Gel is filled, now fill last half of Gel.

Seventh draw uses Wells: A7, B7, C7, D7, E7, F7, G7, H7
These become lanes: 49, 55, 61, 67, 73, 79, 85, 91
