The UID is used to uniquely identify a user and that users custom primer and accounting
files. LIMS automatically assigns a UID to the user when the user account is created.
If a users UID is changed the LIMS administrator needs to change the UID-name of the users
custom primer and accounting files and make sure the new UID is not in use by another
user. In addition, the new UID should not be in the number series currently being
automatically assigned for fear of the system assigning a number that is currently
in use.
